Leonie Newnham has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.
EAST MELBOURNE, VIC, AUSTRALIA, August 13, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Leonie Newnham has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As Manager Innovation with the Department of Sustainability and Environment, as well as throughout her brilliant career, Leonie has routinely displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Department of Sustainability and Environment leads the Victorian Government's efforts to sustainably manage water resources and catchments, climate change, bushfires, parks and other public land, forests, biodiversity, and ecosystem conservation. The organization is the driving force behind finding new ways of doing things so that Victorians can reduce their impact on the environment and live more sustainably.
Leonie is an expert in management innovation, business change management, project management, and business strategy. During her collegiate career, she earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Business from Monash University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the Melbourne College of Advanced Education. Leonie is currently in the process of working towards her PhD in Management and Innovation at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia. Leonie is also the current Chair of Commission One - Professional Standards and Practice for the International Federation of Surveyors.
